Association “Women’s Forum” – Tetovo, member of National Network to End Violence against Women organized a working meeting with representatives from local relevant institutions on 26th November 2015. At the meeting it was discussed about the situation in Tetovo regarding the system of protection and support for women victims of violence, with focus on victims of domestic violence. Special emphasis was put on the sustainability of specialized services for support provided by non-governmental organizations among which Women’s Forum with the service free legal aid.
The working meeting was within the campaign “16 Days of Activism to End Violence against Women”, part of the activities of the project “Advocacy for provision of sustainability of specialized services for victims of domestic violence” funded by USAID. The “16 Days” campaign is also supported by the Swedish foundation Kvinna till Kvinna.
