On 12.09.2017, in Public Room – Skopje, National Network to End Violence against Women and Domestic Violence realized a working meeting with Presidents of Women’s Forums of political parties in the Republic of Macedonia.
The aim of the meeting was a discussion about the Draft Policy prepared by the National Network to End Violence against Women and Domestic Violence for establishment and provision of sustainability for a regional package of services for women victims of different forms of violence and domestic violence, on local level in the Republic of Macedonia. This Draft Policy was sent to the candidates for mayors to include it in their programs and plans for the Local Elections 2017.
The discussion at the working meeting was led in this direction. The present representatives gave their proposals for better action and effectiveness of the initiative and promised to personally act for its implementation. A frame for future activities was also established.
